The winners just keep coming with the Microgaming progressive jackpot network now passing $250,000,000 worth of jackpots won. Launched five years ago with the Cash Splash slot the network now features 21 different progressive games with jackpots ranging from $1000 to over $5,000,000.
The ascent to the landmark total was given a boost thanks to last month's bumper payday for Finnish player Klaus E, who became an instant millionaire after placing a $0.50 bet on the Mega Moola Progressive Slot Machine and walking away with a cool $5.5 million.
Klaus is not the only players to join the instant millionaires club. There have ben 13 lucky online slot players who have won jackpots on $1,000,000 or more. There have also been another 6,500 players who have won smaller jackpots since the progressive network was launched.
